Norma Stone’s Silk Flowers & More, is a proud family business currently celebrating 21 years of bringing beautiful silk flowers, craft supplies, wedding supplies, homecoming supplies, seasonal selections, and gift items to our customers.
Norma founded the business in 1988. Daughter Pati joined the staff in 2003 and quickly demonstrated a very high level aptitude and strong interest in the business - quickly moving up to become manager in 2005 to allow Norma to devote more time to find the bargains that make our business model possible.
In 2007, Pati gave birth to our 4th generation of Stone Family florists - Suzi. Now we have that 4th generation of management in training.
In 2008 Starla ,a granddaughter, joined the family business. Starla had always demonstrated such a love of children and the aptitude for babysitting that she quickly evolved into the caretaker for the children of our family team members. Starla is now very happy to be caring for those children - which allows her to be home for her own child, Seth. In her capacity as the stone family childcare provider, she seems very happy and we wish her all the best.
As Starla evolved into her role as the family childcare custodian, another granddaughter Ashley came in to take her place in the family business. Ashley's daughter McKenzie is the center of her life currently and working with the family just seems a natural fit and allows her to spend a great deal more time with McKenzie than might otherwise be possible.
